INTERVIEW: Military Vet Uses Music To Rehab From Combat Injury

Jason Sagebiel fought in the Iraq War as a scout-sniper for the Marine Corp. Upon returning back to the states, he released that during combat he suffered a brain injury. Sagebiel rebuilt his cognitive skills by re-learning to play guitar, an instrument he knew since age 13. He now runs Sage Music, a school in Long Island City that combines traditional music education with special focuses on psychology and health.
