Summer 2012 anthem? Probably. The first single and title track from Sean’s forthcoming album due out this year.

As she accepted her Spotlight Award last night at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, Katy Perry left no doubt that her latest single is about her divorce from Russell Brand.

Props to EMI/Capitol for delivering yet another refreshing lyric video. This is off of Katy’s Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.

Of all the interviews I’ve done, my chat with Haley Reinhart has really been the only one to ever be scrutinized on the Internet. Haley’s fans were upset with the question about the negative reaction I saw after she made Top 3 on “American Idol” last season. If those fans had seen the Facebook comments I read, they would have understood why it was a fair question.

The fans were relentless last summer, and they accused me of not liking Reinhart and playing favorites. Not true, and I hope this settles that claim (although if it doesn’t, I’m not losing sleep). The “Idol” alum’s debut album Listen Up! drops May 22, and the track “Oh My!” featuring B.o.B has “hit record” written all over it, IMHO.

Will.I.Am premiered this track on Capital FM in the UK. I think this could be the big breakout single from his solo album.

The “Fill Me In” (yeah, remember that song?) singer takes us for a night out of partying with the original Calvin Harris track, “Bounce.”

Here’s the second single from One Direction’s debut U.S. LP, Up All Night.

If you can get over the artist’s name, it’s a pretty cool song.

Follow-up to the hit, “Tonight is the Night” from the Yonkers, NY-born emcee.

Keyboardist Andrew Dost talked about the theatrical and at times experimental sounds of Some Nights and the album’s title track, which is the follow-up to Fun.’s hit “We Are Young.”

How many other rappers do you know that can pull off collabs with the wide spectrum of artists that B.o.B has? From Rivers Cuomo, Taylor Swift, and Hayley Williams to Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, Ryan Tedder, and T.I., it is seriously something to marvel at. Congrats to Bobby Ray on the release of his album Strange Clouds.
