After NEPA high schools sent over 800,000 text messages to BHTtxt, Elmer L. Meyers High School won 97 BHT’s High School Hookup V4.0, scoring a free concert from All Time Low. The four fellas from Baltimore played an acoustic set inside Rodano’s for the student body. Thanks to Interscope Records, Gerrity’s, Rodano’s, & 97 BHT!

In partnership with the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation, Beyoncé teamed up with Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign for a remix of “Get Me Bodied” called “Move Your Body.” The video for the NABEF’s Let’s Move! Flash Workout was shown to schools across the country – and nationwide at 1:42 p.m. on May 3, students danced to the workout.

Mixed in with the music video above is footage of kids at Northeast Intermediate School in Scranton, PA and Clear Run Intermediate in Tobyhanna, PA moving along to Beyoncé’s dance. Call it the “Ain’t No Party Like A Scranton Party Remix!”

97 BHT and “The Ralphie Radio Show” gave away tickets to Ke$ha’s Friday, April 15 performance at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. Two qualifiers were brought in studio – the first to blow up and tie a balloon won the tickets. Thanks to RCA Music Group.

97 BHT gave away a pair of White Gold Diamond Earrings valued at over $1,000 from Rainbow Jewelers with Ice in the Cake. Twenty contestants converged to the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA to dig through cakes provided by Gerrity’s Supermarkets. Charlene from Hazleton found the ice and won!

The Ready Set stopped by the 97 BHT studios to perform an acoustic version of the platinum-selling single, “Love Like Woe.”

97 BHT presented Nickelodeon TV’s and Columbia Recording group Big Time Rush for a special 97 person meet-and-greet inside the Wyoming Valley Mall. Big thanks to Columbia Records, the Wyoming Valley Mall, the Wilkes Barre Twp Police Department, and WNEP-TV.
