Archives For Lindsey Stirling

It was a crazy six hours that saw nominees, presenters and performers all stop by our broadcast area as everyone prepared for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. We chatted with everyone from the show’s co-host Ludacris, performers Jason Derulo, Halsey and Julia Michaels plus presenters Lindsey Stirling, Chris Daughtry and Hailee Steinfeld. Check out more below!

Actress, model and comedian Arielle Vandenberg called in to chat about her new web series, “Car Star,” which is available starting Monday (10/31) on Verizon’s Go90 app. Vandenberg hosts the episodes, which pair user-submitted karaoke videos with stars like Pentatonix, MAGIC! and Lindsey Stirling.

Vandenberg, who has over 2 million Vine followers, also talked about Twitter’s announcement this past week that Vine would be discontinued.

Violinist Lindsey Stirling stopped by to talk about her new album “Brave Enough,” which is out August 19. The lead single, “Something Wild,” is in the upcoming Disney film “Pete’s Dragon,” out August 12.

Stirling also chatted about performing with Celine Dion and meeting Steven Tyler at the Billboard Music Awards, the death of Christina Grimmie and the fact that she turns 30 in September.

It was a nice welcome to our Westwood One Backstage broadcast for the 2015 American Music Awards: my first interview of the day was the venerable Pete Wentz, bassist for one of my favorite bands Fall Out Boy. Another favorite of mine, alt-pop outfit Walk The Moon stopped by as well. Also swinging through our area: Pentatonix, Lindsey Stirling and R5.

Violinist Lindsey Stirling stopped by “Ralphie Tonight” to perform a few songs and chat about her album Shatter Me.

Before discussing how Skrillex influenced her music (below), she and her band covered Katy Perry’s “Roar” by request (above).

Stirling also performed the title track from her album and a cover of John Legend’s “All Of Me” in studio.
