Perhaps Ke$ha wanted to prove to her doubters that yes, she can sing sans the autotune. Maybe she just wanted to record this to make a little extra money (it’s being sold as a part of her Deconstructed EP available through her website). Fine, Ke$ha is showing us “another side to her art” or something. Whatever the case, the acoustic version of “Die Young” is surprisingly good.
