Miley Cyrus told me on the blue carpet of the 2013 Billboard Music Awards that as far as her music is concerned; she isn’t concerned with any one particular “sound” or genre.

“I don’t ever label anything,” she said. “All of my party jams are real sh-t too. It’s all what I really need to say.”

Apparently the former Disney actress really needed to set the tone for her forthcoming fourth studio release with a single that well, is a party jam. “We Can’t Stop” has been welcomed with both cheers and jeers; some proclaim “song of the summer” while others insist it would haven’t made a Ke$ha track-list.

Coincidentally the release is Cyrus’ first on RCA Records, home also to the aforementioned “TiK ToK” singer.
