In an interview to promote his new movie “The Gambler,” actor Mark Wahlberg revealed that the HBO “Boardwalk Empire” series may not have seen it’s last day. Similar to “Entourage,” which the Boston native was also an Executive Producer on, Wahlberg will now try to have a feature-film based on the TV series made. Wahlberg also said he wants to talk to Martin Scorsese about directing it.

The actor also confirmed that the “Entourage” movie is slated to be released on his birthday, June 5.

Wahlberg stars in “The Gambler.” He plays professor Jim Bennett, a gambling addict who runs in to trouble with gangsters. The film is in theaters now.
