I think this could quite possibly be the first hit single from Far East Movement’s 2012 release Dirty Bass. “Like a G6” and “Rocketeer” were off of the previous album, Free Wired. Also a big fan of Cover Drive, a pop-quartet from the same country that brought us Rihanna – Barbados.

OneRepublic made headlines shortly after the tragedy in Newtown – lead singer Ryan Tedder has family in Connecticut. The band set out to raise $50,000 for the victims’ families and has almost doubled that total. OneRepublic will release its third LP, Native, in January 2013.
