Rumors began growing louder throughout the day on Wednesday that Timberlake would be dropping a new single for radio stations. A station website in Florida confirmed the news, only to remove the post after it went viral on the Internet. But after subsequent Twitter updates from JT and producer Timbaland, it seems the song’s imminent release is all-but-confirmed. First came Timberlake’s tweet, just after midnight EST on Thursday.

Jay-Z is the rumored guest on the single, which will serve as the lead track from Timberlake’s forthcoming third studio album. The newlywed is also planning a concert in New Orleans next month during Super Bowl weekend, although details of the event are not confirmed yet.
Timberlake’s 2006 FutureSex/LoveSounds is certified diamond worldwide, selling over ten million copies.
