Overall, I’m underwhelmed by the “Hold It Against Me” video for Britney Spears’ new single. I think you can pull off the product placement if the product itself isn’t suffering or lacking substance. GaGa’s “Telephone” worked because the product placement didn’t interfere with enjoying the video… matter of fact – it enhanced the experience.

“Born This Way” was produced by Lady GaGa, Fernando Garibay, and DJ White Shadow. GaGa wrote the track – which feels like she’s channeling that uplifting Madonna sound. This is the title song from her forthcoming album this May.
